96.1 FM WBWH has upgraded its primary stream to better your mobile and online listening experience. WBWH’s primary stream is a 64 kbps AAC+ stream. Additionally, we have both a 96 kbps MP3 stream and a 48 kbps AAC+ stream. All streams can be played on your PC, laptop and through many mobile devices through the TuneIn Application.

 

You can also listen to our primary stream through your favorite external media player.

Streaming Tips & Facts

  • The 48 kbps AAC+ and 64 kbps AAC+ streams are ideal for listening through your mobile device because they use less data than a 96 or 128 kbps stream would.
  • Remember to check with your mobile phone provider to see how much data you are allotted per month.
  • Streaming music and videos are the biggest offenders against mobile data usage.
  • If you’re streaming the station through a hard wired connection or Wi-Fi, the stream that you select does not matter as much, because there is not a data limitation.
  • For for info on the application that you will need to download on your Smartphone, Tablet or other Mobile Device click HERE. When you have the TuneIn App installed on your device, simply type “WBWH” in the search box.
  • The TuneIn App is available for download for your mobile device in application download stores such as Google Play, Apple App, Blackberry World, or Amazon.
  • You may need to disable your pop-up blocker temporarily, to listen through our online player.

 

Listening to 96.1 FM WBWH through external media players

  • External media players are ones that you can install on your laptop or desktop computer. Usually, these come pre-installed on your computer.
  • If you want to download an external media player for your device, you can click on the the names of those listed above for a link.
  • Some internet browsers such as Google Chrome and Windows Internet Explorer will download the stream links as files. In this case, you may need to copy the link address into your external media player.
